FCC LMR Licensing Coordination

Private Land Mobile Licensing Rules Effective May 14, 2010

The FCC published rule changes into the Federal Register that will eliminate the need for frequency coordination for private land mobile systems that seek to reduce bandwidth, antenna height and effective radiated power. After May 14, 2010, when the rules go into effect, licensees make these changes directly using the FCC's Universal Licensing System (ULS). The Federal Register document can be downloaded here.
