President Obama signed an Executive Order (EO) on October 7, 2011 that calls for structural reforms to the oversight of classified information. The EO supports, codifies, and accelerates ongoing work that includes bolstering detection capabilities, restricting removable media, and strengthening government-wide governance, coordination, and oversight.
